Letter to my Favourite Cricketer!

Dear Virat Kohli,

There is not another batsman of your age as talented as you are in this entire world. Your elegance and class just attracts my eyes and refrain me from watching away. Your pure timing and shot selections are the best things one can ask for.
As much as I am impressed with your batting, I am quite annoyed with your on field behaviour. You got to be aggressive alright but aggression and being disrespectful are two different things. You are looked up by many upcoming kids who love the game of cricket and your behaviour will only spoil them.
You have already been involved in many incidents that only spoiled your image. May it be the finger you raised at the SCG or may it be the 'B' word you use after you get out, it only have put a stain on your glittering career so far.
It was all good until you were keeping your arrogance and aggression to a limit and to yourself. But things are getting worst as you are expressing your annoyance and trying to vilify your opponents. Such a behaviour may not be entertained by the ICC and you will pay for it sooner or later. So, it's better you start controlling your angst.
Coming to the point, what exactly made me write this to you? It's been five years since you have been the golden boy of Indian cricket and doing all the shenanigans, so why now? Here's the answer.
Your most recent battle on field with your senior pro and the man India respects for his innings which brought India the second world cup, Gautam Gambhir, was far more bitter to digest. For me it was utter disrespectful coming from you to such a teammate. As I saw you strutting towards Gauti, my mind strutted down the memory lane. It was some ordinary series against the Lankan's or the Bangladeshi's, Gautam and you had a wonderful partnership. You both scored centuries. It was your third if I remember it well. You got out while Gambhir went on to score an unbeaten 150+. He was named the man of the match. And with all heart and soul the guy handed you the trophy just because you haven't won it before and for him you deserved it as a younger colleague. And years later, here you are, repaying him with a not so cool gesture.
I hope that you join an anger management class or something. Because you have to be a lot more sensible since you are a contender for the captainship. And I don't want to see Team India in any jeopardy!
You shall keep doing what you do best and that is score runs and not be in the news for any other reasons. Wish you luck!

Your annoyed Fan.
