Letter to Santa Claus!

Dear Santa Claus,

Hello Santa! Hope you're doing well. It's Christmas and I guess you'll be on your way to deliver gifts to those innocent little kids. I have something to say to you and I won't take much of your time.

I was a fan of you throughout my childhood and I still am amazed by the things you do. You always seemed to be cool. I mean come on, who else can drive a reindeer-cart which can fly through the clouds? Keeping an eye on the wishlists of those kids who listen to their parents and behave throughout the year. That might be a tough job and hectic as well. But you do it without complaining or procrastinating(something which the current generation as mastered).

Now you might have started wondering that why am I telling you this, you already are aware of everything. But hey Santa, you really are not aware of everything. And I have decided to seek your attention towards someone.

An innocent little kid who hardly troubled his parents. A kid who was well behaved in school, patient, honest and did his homework on time. Every year on Christmas eve, that little kid used to wish for a gift from you, just like every other kid on the block. But every year, on Christmas day, he woke up disappointed. You didn't showed up, not even once. With time, his faith in you started reducing and ultimately, it died. Eventually, Santa Claus became a myth for him. And then Christmas was just like any other ordinary day for him.

But now, that kid is 21 years old. And he now understands why you never turned up. You wanted him to be patient. You wanted him to know that Patience indeed is a virtue. And you'll be glad to know that he has learned it by heart and soul.

He his happy with his life and probably can't wish for anything this Christmas. But one thing he wishes for is the ability to make other people happy. Just like you, he seeks selflessness, humility and the will to make the world a happy place. Because he has learned that the best thing he can do in this world is spread a smile. And who else can do it better than you. So you would be more than happy to grant this wish of his. Santa, all he wants to be henceforth is being someone's Santa Claus & spread love. Hope you'll show up this time.

Merry Christmas.

Lots of Love.

Letter to my Favourite Cricketer!

Dear Virat Kohli,

There is not another batsman of your age as talented as you are in this entire world. Your elegance and class just attracts my eyes and refrain me from watching away. Your pure timing and shot selections are the best things one can ask for.
As much as I am impressed with your batting, I am quite annoyed with your on field behaviour. You got to be aggressive alright but aggression and being disrespectful are two different things. You are looked up by many upcoming kids who love the game of cricket and your behaviour will only spoil them.
You have already been involved in many incidents that only spoiled your image. May it be the finger you raised at the SCG or may it be the 'B' word you use after you get out, it only have put a stain on your glittering career so far.
It was all good until you were keeping your arrogance and aggression to a limit and to yourself. But things are getting worst as you are expressing your annoyance and trying to vilify your opponents. Such a behaviour may not be entertained by the ICC and you will pay for it sooner or later. So, it's better you start controlling your angst.
Coming to the point, what exactly made me write this to you? It's been five years since you have been the golden boy of Indian cricket and doing all the shenanigans, so why now? Here's the answer.
Your most recent battle on field with your senior pro and the man India respects for his innings which brought India the second world cup, Gautam Gambhir, was far more bitter to digest. For me it was utter disrespectful coming from you to such a teammate. As I saw you strutting towards Gauti, my mind strutted down the memory lane. It was some ordinary series against the Lankan's or the Bangladeshi's, Gautam and you had a wonderful partnership. You both scored centuries. It was your third if I remember it well. You got out while Gambhir went on to score an unbeaten 150+. He was named the man of the match. And with all heart and soul the guy handed you the trophy just because you haven't won it before and for him you deserved it as a younger colleague. And years later, here you are, repaying him with a not so cool gesture.
I hope that you join an anger management class or something. Because you have to be a lot more sensible since you are a contender for the captainship. And I don't want to see Team India in any jeopardy!
You shall keep doing what you do best and that is score runs and not be in the news for any other reasons. Wish you luck!

Your annoyed Fan.

Letter to my inspiration!

Dear CM Punk,

You sir, is truly an inspiration to me and to a lot of others who follow you. Now, I basically hail from India but not from a wrestling background and certainly not from a village which is famous for wrestling! I am just like many other wrestling(wwe) fans around my city, my country, who got introduced to wrestling via wwe(before they lost the 'f' to a panda).
It's true that I'm a fan of your wrestling skills but that is certainly not what inspires me. What inspires me is your passion, dedication, hardwork and most important of them all, your belief. I love watching you on my T.V. set. I have been watching you since your early days in the wwe/ecw and I can only say that you just keep improving each day. Whatever character you have played on T.V. is done with all heart and soul. You just live it all, on that microphone, in that ring and even on commentary, nobody can touch you!
The fact that I will never try and drink alcohol, consume drugs and smoke is all because of that one promo you cut in the ring, 'Straightedge means I am better than you!' That tattoo on your body will always influence me to think otherwise when somebody says let's go take a drink. And I am so pleased to not turn on you because you turned your back on the fans in the 'Straightedge' storyline, which indeed made me think about what you said in your scripted promos.
Then came the 'anti-hero' character! On June 27, 2011, you sat down with folded legs on that stage and spoke your heart out. There was no script in it. Nobody knew what you were gonna say. But when it was all said and done, a legend rose just weeks before he was going down in ashes! Phil Brooks made CM Punk a Legend. You sat there and said that you are the 'best in the world'. You just didn't said it, you proved it with a legendary and longest reigning wwe championship title run in about two decades. 434 days of hardwork, not a single day off, you worked through your injuries, you beat'em all. That's what inspires me. That hardwork and passion. That will to outplay everyone else and be the absolute best you can be. That hunger and compassion what you strive for. You are absolutely the best in the world.
I have watched CM Punk the movie and that is a lot more entertaining and inspirational documentary movie you can ask for. And I salute you for what you have achieved in your life.
At Wrestlemania, you tried to accomplish what 20 other failed to! Beating the Undertaker at the grandest stage of them all. You too couldn't taste success, but you put up a show worth watching. And that's what mattered in the end.
Now, as you take the much needed time off to recuperate and heal your mind and soul, I wish that when you return, you are much stronger and have a lot of things to keep us all entertained and inspired. Thank you CM Punk and most importantly Thank You Mr. Phil Brooks!

Your Inspired Fan!

Letter to the Almighty!

Dear God,

I know I am late on this but I reached mother earth, safe and sound, twenty years ago. I know I should have informed you a little earlier but was too busy to do so. And for that matter, you should be held responsible for engaging me in such a routine. Anyways, better late than never.
Apparently, there's a lot of things that I want to tell you and ask you. And I can't figure out from where exactly to start but I have to do it either ways.
So, I start with that great fall I took on the merry-go-round in my primary school that left a permanent mark on my left arm. The question I want to ask is, why would you choose such an innocent little child from amongst the 100 notorious one's, playing in the same garden as I was? What wrong have I done to anyone?
Fast forward a few years and here I am, sincere in studies, attentive in class, doing all my homework on time, but somehow, for some reasons my efforts didn't reflect in my report card. It eventually ended in the 'average' section each time, no matter how much I studied before hand but the end result always was the same. Again, why? Why was the guy who created all the nuisance in class while I was appreciated for maintaining peace ended up being on the same page on that final day?
Things were not too different on the field of cricket. I was technically sound, as approved by my coach. But on that big day, that big game, I failed. Every time! Just why? Why didn't I have the mighty powers to perform on the grandest stage?
Giving up the unfortunate technical skills on the ground, I steer my ways to horn my technical skills on computers. Yeah right, Engineering! But things remain as equivalent as they were in the later part of my schooling. Average! Or even worst. I am just tired of it now. I mean come on, just make some changes and make it on the positive side.
Speaking of positives, I shall thank you for awarding me with such amount of patience. I have not came accross anyone who might be as patient as I am until this day. It as only made me stronger and better. Also, thank you for giving me such wonderful parents and the rest of the family.
And yes, thank you for giving me an amazing group of friends. They are undoubtedly the best creatures I have met. None of them have similar traits but one thing they have in common is me!
It's a long-long letter and I hope you have time to read it and much importantly to reply to it. I'll be getting back to you sooner or later. And yeah, a laptop is long due now, I know I bragged about being patient a while ago but it's long overdue, so please look into the matter.
     Take care! Bye till then.

Your's Sincerely!
